Tau Beta Pi
San Francisco Bay Area Alumnus Chapter

Minutes of October 13, 2001

The meeting commenced at approximately 2.15pm . Location was Yuhan's apartment in Albany. It was 13th October, 2001. A Saturday.

After the requisite supplication and worship, all present prepared to listen in awe as Yuhan began the meeting with the first item on the agenda: the bank account.

Due to some truly idiotic bank bureaucracy, the opening of our official bank account has been delayed. It will happen, just not quite yet.

Next was the Eminent Engineer Program. For now we'll focus on getting the process underway for one recipient for one chapter to initiate. The main issue is getting the contact information to people in various companies to get applications. Possibilities include the old contact list from CA Alpha, and the Bay Area Engineer's Council. Mike Magpayo will be in charge of getting the contact lists available, with Yuhan's help.

If the response to this is good enough, we might even push forward plans to pass on more than one recipient to more chapters.

Next is the "reverse resume book". Basically, all who are working please keep an ear open for any job openings in your company. If so, inform Yuhan or Bernie, and they'll disseminate the information to the undergrad chapters.

Next is a winter social event. We'd like something of a mixer type of activity if possible, to get all the chapters involved. Possibilities include a Halloween party, and a ski trip. Any other suggestions, feel free to suggest. Since we do not yet have much funds available, such activities will be mainly paid for by the participants equally. Naturally the need for actual assessments will be put through the regular voting process.

And with that, the meeting came to an end. 2.45pm.
